Key Responsibilities :
In this role, you will lead audits and reviews to maintain high standards in clinical documentation, infection control, and nursing care, providing actionable insights to enhance care delivery. Additionally, you will empower staff through ongoing training in quality assurance, infection control, and compliance, fostering a culture of continuous learning and exceptional care. You will also uphold resident rights and privacy while promoting a calm and caring environment throughout our facilities.
Qualifications :
Education & Experience :
- Registered Nurse licensed in Ohio; BSN preferred.
- Certification in Quality Assurance, Infection Control, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a skilled nursing facility, with a background in quality assurance or infection control. Experience of DON minimum of 3 years preferred.
- Must have understanding of Quality Measures, survey process, MDS knowledge preferred.
Skills :
The role requires proficiency in EMR systems such as Point Click Care and strong MS Office skills. You should have excellent communication and leadership abilities, emphasizing teamwork and problem-solving. Additionally, being highly organized, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment is essential.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions :
The role requires the physical capability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and assist with resident care. You must demonstrate resilience and empathy, especially in challenging situations, and be prepared to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Additionally, the position involves potential exposure to infectious conditions, necessitating adherence to safety protocols.
