Caregiver - Spanish Speaking

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregivers who speak spanish available to work in the 85006 zip code - 20-25 hours per week - full virtual onboarding offered with prior caregiving experience - fingerprint card and cpr and first aid are required

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with mobility needs, including lifting or transferring clients as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare staff, including nurses and direct support professionals, to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Skills

• Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
• Experience in group home settings or assisted living environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of hospice care protocols is a plus.
• Ability to lift and assist clients safely while maintaining their dignity.
• Familiarity with developing and following care plans effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential for building rapport with clients.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy.
