We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health conditions.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying clients to appointments or outings.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client care plans.
- Document daily activities and any changes in client condition accurately.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a healthcare setting is preferred; experience in geriatrics is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and emergency procedures related to home care.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to outpatient care, emergency medicine, or trauma centers (Level I or II Trauma Center) is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently while demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Must pass background checks as required by state regulations.
