Duties
- Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the client's condition.
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals.
- Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting as necessary.
- Engage in patient observation to ensure safety and well-being.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance social interaction.
- Assist with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed health regimens.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in long-term care, senior care, or assisted living is preferred.
- Knowledge of CPR and basic first aid is highly desirable.
- Ability to monitor patients effectively while providing compassionate care.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building rapport with clients.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
- A background in social work or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in caregiving or healthcare are beneficial.

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 25 per week
