- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Support individuals with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum, through tailored care strategies.
- Help clients with mobility by assisting them in lifting or transferring safely.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks as required.
- Administer first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and family members to develop personalized care plans.
Skills
- Strong background in patient care with an understanding of various health conditions.
- Knowledge of cooking nutritious meals that cater to individual dietary needs.
- Experience or training in nursing or home community care is highly desirable.
