Non-Medical Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care and companionship. You will work in various settings, including home community care, group homes, and memory care facilities, ensuring that each client receives the attention and support they require.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide patient monitoring to ensure safety and well-being.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and cooking according to dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Offer direct support to individuals with dementia or other memory-related conditions.
• Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home community care or group home settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and dementia care practices is highly desirable.
• Ability to assist with meal preparation and cooking for clients with varying dietary needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
