Do you have the heart to serve? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As a PCA, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a respectful and compassionate manner
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as ambulating, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Ability to use the Electronic Verification Visit App to log hours and services
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to pass a MN Dept of Human Services background check
- Have not been excluded from participating in Federal or State Healthcare Programs
- Ability to complete Orientation online or a combination of in-person and online
- An open mind and a caring demeanor
- Complete required PCA certification through the Department of Human Services
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or vulnerable adults
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, and children
- Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
