Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Remind clients to take their medication at the appropriate times
- Monitor any changes in clients wellness
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Implement behavior management techniques when necessary
- Ensure clients' rights and dignity are respected at all times
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address clients' needs effectively
Skills
- Proficiency in home community care practices
- Ability to drive or assist with transportation needs
- Familiarity with group home settings and personal care homes
