Job Summary

In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, companionship, and more—all while fostering independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
- Provide medication reminders and maintain accurate documentation.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote a positive atmosphere.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation to appointments or social activities.
- Monitor and report changes in health or behavior to supervisors or family members.
- Follow individualized care plans to ensure client safety and well-being.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CNA certification or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred but not required.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with clients.
- Empathy, patience, and adaptability in caregiving situations.
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical caregiving tasks as needed.
