What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Lead position at Caring Transitions of Western Montana?
Caring Transitions assists our clients in downsizing their homes, liquidating unneeded household goods, conducting full house clear outs, and settling them into their new spaces. Our team is filled with passionate people who care about helping others through life's transitions. We provide on the job training and shadowing with online courses available. This role requires comfortability in a supervisory position who manages 2-4 team members on a jobsite (relocation, liquidation, and/or clear out.) You must be able to manage people, time, efficiency, client expectations, and actively participate in the operations which occur at each jobsite. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and time management skills and takes pride in their work. Many of our current employees say their favorite part of this job is the different scenery and assignments each day.
Duties:
Cleanout at end of sale
Organize & sort household goods for distribution & liquidation
Proper packing techniques used for relocation
Decluttering- separating low, medium, & high value items- some cleaning
Rough setup- grouping like items together
Fine tuning- set up for sale and help customers locate items they are looking for
Breakdown of all equipment at end of sale
Unpack & resettle in new home
Supervise training for new employees and assist managers to assess viability of trainees to proceed through probationary period
Counsel & correct co-workers as needed, document & report all problems, suggestions, or customer comments
Report all injuries IMMEDIATELY. Injured workers must immediately be seen by a physician/clinic specified by supervisor
Document all injuries with FACTS
Take control, resolve, & follow-up with customer complaints.
Record daily information into database
Help customers locate items they are looking for
Validate that entire home or work site has been broom swept and vacuumed
Communicate to Project Manager and/or owner
