Team Leader- Caring Transitions

Job Summary

The Team Leader at Caring Transitions will play a key role in coordinating and leading a team of professionals to execute senior relocation, downsizing, estate sales, and clean-out projects. This role requires excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure client satisfaction, team efficiency, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and guide team members during relocation, downsizing, and estate sale projects.
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to ensure team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Foster a positive and professional work environment.

Project Coordination

  • Plan and oversee the execution of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately to team members based on their strengths and expertise.
  • Monitor project progress and address challenges proactively.

Client Interaction

  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients during projects.
  • Maintain excellent communication with clients to manage expectations and provide updates.
  • Address and resolve client concerns professionally and empathetically.

Operations Management

  • Ensure all projects adhere to company policies, safety standards, and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project details, team performance, and client feedback.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.

Sales and Growth Support

  • Identify potential opportunities for additional services and communicate them to clients.
  • Represent Caring Transitions positively in the community to promote brand recognition and referrals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in a related field (operations, project management, or similar).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a high level of initiative.
  • Ability to lift and move items as needed for projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in senior relocation, estate sales, or moving services.
  • Knowledge of downsizing and decluttering best practices.
  • Familiarity with Caring Transitions services and values.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks such as packing, organizing, and light moving.
