Caring Transitions is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and energetic individual to join our team. As a Caring Transitions Team Member, you will play a vital role in helping clients navigate life transitions by providing hands-on support with sorting, organizing, packing, and executing estate sales and online auctions. This role requires care and precision when handling personal belongings, as well as the ability to lift items and plan space transitions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sorting and Organizing:
- Assist clients in sorting through their belongings, identifying items for keeping, donating, selling, or discarding.
- Maintain an organized system to streamline the downsizing process.
Packing and Unpacking:
- Safely and securely pack clients’ items for relocation or storage.
- Unpack and organize items in the new space to create a welcoming and functional environment.
Estate Sales and Online Auctions:
- Help prepare for estate sales by organizing, staging, and pricing items.
- Assist in executing sales, including customer service and transactions.
- Photograph and catalog items for online auctions with attention to detail.
Space Planning and Transitions:
- Collaborate with clients to plan efficient and aesthetically pleasing layouts for their new spaces.
- Ensure all transitions are smooth, respectful, and tailored to the client’s needs.
Careful Handling of Belongings:
- Treat all items with the utmost respect and care, understanding their personal and emotional value to the client.
Physical Tasks:
- Lift, move, and transport items as needed, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in assembling or disassembling furniture as required.
Client Support:
