About the CaRi-Heart® Technology

About the Role

Overview

Caristo is looking for a Medical Imaging & DICOM Data Operations Leader with a radiology or cardiology imaging background to join a global team, under the supervision of the Head of US Operations. This role will be responsible for clinical site set up and data operations in the USA, being the key point of operational liaison with US-based customers and research partners.

Department : Operations, reporting to US Head of Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Own medical imaging data routing, transfer, access and management as needed for all customer and research operational workflows in the USA.
  • Remotely medical imaging support setup at hospital / collaborating sites to our cloud platforms as per our standard processes.
  • Investigate medical imaging data transfer related issues and report back to internal stakeholders, suppliers and customers.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of medical imaging data received.
  • Communicate with customers / partners to request missing data and return analysis reports.
  • Support internal and external stakeholders' requirements for the access to cloud-based medical imaging and other data.
  • Execute automated processes for transfer and analysis of medical imaging data in bulk.
  • Ensure processes followed for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data in line with company processes.
  • Ensure all above actions are in line with regulatory standards and legal requirements to comply with application data protection, cyber security and privacy requirements.
  • Skills & Experience Required :

    Essential

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant clinical / technical disciplines.
  • Good working-level knowledge of picture archiving and communication system (PACS), radiology information system (RIS) and DICOM standards for imaging data management.
  • Experience in programming / scripting in python.
  • Working knowledge of hospital Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
  • Working knowledge of medical image exchange vendors such as Ambra, now part of Intelerad.
  • At least two years' experience working in a regulated medical devices environment.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based healthcare solutions.
  • Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word etc.).
  • Desirable

  • Knowledge of Perl.
  • Prior experience in data management in an operational setting.
