Position Summary
The IT Manager is responsible for analyzing and directing all IT-related activities of the organization, with supervisory responsibilities for all staff assigned to the IT department. This position is accountable for ensuring the continuity of computer services for computer users throughout the organization through planning, technical leadership, and project coordination.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (inclusive but not exhaustive):
- Perform all supervisory responsibilities associated with the IT department, including employee-related issues.
- Collaborate with the Chief Operations Officer to assess Caritas of Austin's current information and technology environment and establish a plan for future information and technology needs across the organization.
- Enforce company policies and procedures for all employees as a member of management.
- Act as a professional representative of the company in all interactions with staff, partners , and external stakeholders
- Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with co-workers and at every level of management.
- Contribute to the continuity by providing necessary technical leadership and project coordination.
- Creates, maintains, and upgrades the database performance, integrity, and security across the organization.
- Develops and implements a disaster recovery plan for IT.
- Stays abreast of the latest developments in technology and remains highly technically competent at all levels of data.
- Processing and management while striving for an enhanced user experience.
- Productivity through implementing appropriate software technology and implementing policies that utilize resources most effectively.
- Serves as organization administrator for specific databases and software.
Qualifications:
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Bachelor’s in a related field (or a comparable background of training and experience).
Experience
- Required: Minimum of 2 years of progressive IT experience.
- Proven success developing and executing IT strategies aligned with business goals.

Salary/Benefits:
- Base Salary Range: $67,500-$80,000.
- The salary offered will follow Caritas of Austin salary guideline based on candidate’s education and experience.
