\Job Description
\As a Support Team Member, you will play a vital role in assisting our Support Team Coordinator in piloting new support team system services in targeted Virtual Campus courses. Your responsibilities will include:
\- Assisting the Support Team Coordinator in customizing and piloting the new support team system for virtual campus students in targeted academic areas: General Education, Child Development, Business Administration, and Criminal Justice.
- Providing academic coaching and advising to caseloads of students in targeted courses/programs.
- Identifying low-performing students in targeted courses/programs and facilitating their connections to support resources/services.
- Connecting caseload students to resources such as financial aid assistance, counseling, career services.
- Assisting with data collection to support evaluation of the new system.
Required Skills and Qualifications
\To be successful in this role, you will need:
\- A Bachelor's degree in Advising, Counseling, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum two years' experience in student services, advising, and/or counseling (postsecondary experience preferred).
- Excellent technology skills, with experience in data-informed practices, Blackboard LMS, and Zoom videoconferencing (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to work on a team and excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to address the needs of diverse student populations.
