Position Summary:
To effectively perform all the required duties of the Quality Assurance Technician in an accurate, thorough and safe manner. Perform audits that consist of pre-operational/operational in oun facility. Processing areas as prescribed by A policy and procedures, and maintain proper documentation, in order to assure adherence to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform audits (pre-operational / operational) in the facility ensuring that all @uality/HACCP/SQF/SSOP requirements are being met
- complete all required paperwork, documenting all findings and corrective actions implemented
- Inspect and verify Critical Control Points (CCP'S) in the manufacturing facility.
- Monitor GMP's in production areas.
- Collect samples for lab analyses to assure that product meets specifications.
- Perform routine data entry in computer, with minimum errors.
- In the event a deficiency is discovered/product failure, he/she will report the events) to the QA Manager and appropriate department supervisor/manager
- Maintain work area in a clean and sanitary manner.
- Possess knowledge of and familiarity with the job responsibilities and requirements of all direct reports to include Line Packers. Team Leaders and Packaging Material Handlers.
- Perform inspections of Hold items for proper disposition.
- Provide assistance to Operations in times of staffing challenges, possibly working on the production line.
- Provide guidance to line associates for best quality.
