Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler/Forklift Driver to join our team at Carl Buddig & Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to transport meat baskets and supplies to various areas of the plant
- Scan and deliver meat baskets to packaging lines
- Complete necessary audits of rework vats and wrap and secure them properly
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area and ensure a safe working environment
- Deliver supply boxes and empty pallets to packaging areas as needed
- Remove full pallets from packaging lines and scan and wrap completed pallets
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age and able to legally work in the United States
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Prior experience operating a stand-up forklift preferred
- 2 or more years of related work experience preferred
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work in temperatures of 40 degrees or less
- Must be able to stand for 8-9 hours per day
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds
