Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse tasks, including materials handling, order fulfillment, and inventory management. Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, and cranes to load and unload materials.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment while ensuring quality control.
- Maintain an organized inventory system by tracking stock levels and conducting regular inventory counts.
- Assist in the movement of materials throughout the warehouse to ensure efficient operations.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and improve workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment operation (forklift, cherry picker, reach truck, crane).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of inventory management practices is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
