We’re looking for an eCommerce Marketing Specialist who’s ready to dig into the technical side of eCommerce, paid advertising, and marketing solutions. This role is for someone who thrives on problem-solving, loves collaborating with talented marketers and developers, and has the skills to turn data and tools into engaging online experiences.
You’ll bounce between marketing and technology, optimizing our eCommerce platforms, running data-driven campaigns, and making sure our marketing tools play nicely together. Sound like fun? Read on!
What You’ll Do
- Manage Web Content: Keep the Carl's Place website up to date, with accurate, compelling product pages.
- Email Marketing: Create, manage, and optimize lead-gen campaigns that drive engagement and sales.
- SEO Strategy: Implement SEO best practices across the website to boost organic traffic and visibility.
- Paid Media Campaigns: Manage our paid advertising campaigns, ensuring proper tagging and tracking. Test and optimize for high-performing campaigns.
- Analytics and Tagging: Manage Google Tag Manager and GA4 to track performance and provide actionable insights. Ensure all campaigns and events are properly tagged and firing correctly.
- Integrations: Oversee and troubleshoot integrations with shipping, payment, and production software tools to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Promotions and Campaigns: Maintain the calendar of product promotions, ensuring the timeliness of all sale events.
- Technical Literature: Create and manage technical diagrams, manuals, and interactive website elements to enhance the customer experience.
- Stock Management: Sync with our supply chain to keep customers well-informed of product availability.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with developers, customer service, and marketers to turn ideas into functional, customer-friendly solutions.
Skills You’ll Need
- 3 years managing e-commerce websites, using platforms such as Magento 2/Adobe Commerce, Shopify, BigCommerce
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- High level of comfort with computers and various software, including Adobe Creative Suite
- Comfortable with tagging, event firing, and UTM parameters as they relate to campaign tracking
- Experienced using analytics platforms like GA4 to make data-driven decisions
- A solid understanding of SEO best practices
- Proven success in managing email marketing and paid advertising campaigns
- An interest in or curiosity about golf is a plus, but not a dealbreaker
