About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Production Associate to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. As a Production Associate, you will play an important role in supporting various aspects of our production process, ensuring quality standards are met while contributing to an efficient and organized workplace. This position offers a first-shift schedule of Monday through Friday 8am-4pm with opportunities for overtime during times of increased demand.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery such as cutting machines, grommet machines, and heat presses
- Assist with cutting pipes and managing inventory
- Build panels using pneumatic stapling, adhesive spraying, and press operation
- Inspect materials and products for defects and ensure quality standards
- Measure materials accurately and verify proper dimensions
- Kit components, assemble boxes, and prepare Carl's Place products
- Shuttle materials between departments and prepare pallets for shipping
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support production goals
Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer for basic tasks
- Proficient in reading a tape measure and verifying measurements
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds periodically
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, or walk for extended periods (8 hours)
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or within a team
- Committed to achieving and maintaining high-quality production standards
- Previous experience in machine operation or manufacturing/warehouse environments is a plus
