Tire Technician Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and punctual, drug free Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn; able to lift heavy tires (possibly 100 lbs.) repeatedly; have some mechanical ability; have common sense; and adhere to the rules and examples set forth. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of tires on various vehicles including passenger cars, lawn mowers and semis.
Duties
- Install, balance, patch, and rotate tires on vehicles with accuracy.
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively during tire service tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Very little customer interaction, but courteous demeanor required and no swearing.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 and have reliable transportation. A high school diploma is helpful.
- Job experience, preferably in mechanics or tires.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during tire installation and removal processes.
- Proficiency in using power tools.
- Very little interaction with customers, but need to maintain a courteous demeanor.
- Able to follow instructions and remember them for the next time.

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
