Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet state and national curriculum standards
- Provide instruction in a variety of subjects, including language arts, math, science, and social studies
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Provide tutoring and early intervention services to students who are struggling academically
- Collaborate with other teachers and education administration to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and behavior management strategies
- Write progress reports and communicate with parents about their child's academic performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- State teaching certification required
