- Supplier Quality Assessment : Assist in evaluating and monitoring supplier performance through data analysis and quality metrics.
Participate in supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards.
Part Inspection : Conduct inspections of supplier parts and materials to verify conformance to specifications.Utilize measurement tools and techniques to assess quality and document findings accurately.
Documentation and Reporting : Maintain comprehensive records of inspections performed, including details on conforming and non-conforming parts.Prepare reports that summarize inspection findings and supplier performance metrics for evaluation.
Collaboration : Work closely with Quality leadership and cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and procurement, to address quality issues and implement improvements.Continuous Improvement : Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for enhancing inspection processes and supplier quality management. This position requires hands on ability with metrology tools : Vernier Caliper and Micrometer and will require a demonstration of your abilities on these tools.Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.Possess good understanding and ability to use the metrology tools like calipers, gauges, micrometers etc.Familiarity with quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO standards) is a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.The hourly pay range for this position is $22.00 – $25.00 The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity / specialization / scarcity of talent.
