The Role
As an Engineering Manager on the XRM (X-ray Microscopy) team, you will work closely with talented professionals in the industry. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee product development and sustaining engineering activities within the XRM organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage 6-10 direct engineering reports in a matrix organization
- Coach and mentor direct reports and cross-functional team leads on product development process and good practices
- Guide others in developing technical requirements and detailed project plans
- Drive development teams to meet goals and deadlines
- Develop test plans to verify new products meet requirements
- Maintain overall quality and performance of the product line
Requirements
- BS in Engineering, Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- MS or Phd preferred
- A minimum of 7 years of directly related experience in product design of capital equipment
- 5 years' experience in technical product development management
- Experience with microscopy, imaging and related technologies, performance requirements and customers

- An annual pay range of $172,000 - $215,000
