Order labs and pathology tests, and properly schedule procedures.- Accurately document pre and post-procedure information as applicable.- Follow patient safety goals.- Provide quality care throughout procedures.- Be knowledgeable about equipment operation, including hardware and software, CT systems, workstations, and printers.- Perform reasonable troubleshooting and check equipment for safety, maintenance, and proper operation.- Report equipment issues through appropriate channels.- Maintain a clean work area, stock supplies, and verify accessories assigned to the room.- Support Medical Imaging department functions to meet patient expectations and needs.- Process films and paperwork promptly according to procedures to ensure timely reporting to physicians.- Maintain efficient patient flow and safely transport patients when required.- Accurately complete information fields in the Radiology system, such as repeated films, contrast reactions, and exam data.- Maintain a safe environment for patients and personnel, and uphold QA, QC, and QI programs.- Demonstrate problem-solving approaches to patient moving and handling issues.- Exhibit skills to promote patient and staff safety using lift equipment appropriately.- Build relationships and share knowledge with fellow technologists / students, fostering a productive learning environment.- Display professionalism in interactions with colleagues to create mutual respect.
