Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift : Day, 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM, 3x12 Hour Shifts
Guaranteed Hours : 36 Hours per Week
Experience : Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience
License : RN License in good standing
Certifications : BLS (American Heart Association)
Must-Have : Cardiac Care Experience
Job Description :
- Assume responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame, providing care through the nursing process and utilizing nursing trends, technology, and resources within the institution's philosophy.
- Perform all responsibilities and duties specific to the scope of service for the unit.
- Implement procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided, ensuring the integration of information for use by the healthcare team.
- Complete initial assessment upon patient admission and develop an appropriate plan of care in accordance with unit standards and based on patient and family needs.
- Implement plan of care, nursing interventions, and patient care procedures, modifying the plan based on continuous evaluation.
- Take responsibility for patient and employee safety by reporting and / or correcting safety hazards and incidents.
- Communicate directly and privately when necessary to resolve issues, offering constructive feedback to assist in the professional development of peers.
- Confer with colleagues to expand the knowledge base and identify personal learning needs, taking initiative for appropriate solutions.
- Fulfill all requirements of departmental competencies.
