Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ambulatory Care team. As an RN at Carle Health System, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients and families, providing holistic care that addresses their physical, emotional, and social needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient plans.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and services.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Act as a preceptor and mentor to other staff members, sharing knowledge and expertise to promote professional growth and development.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in ambulatory care or a related setting.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
