Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care to patients with diverse medical conditions, including cardiovascular diseases, pulmonary disorders, and complex surgical needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient goals, and design care plans that promote positive outcomes and quality care.
• Administer medications safely and effectively, utilizing the 5 Rights: Right patient, Right medication, Right route, Right dose, and Right time.
• Participate in unit-based huddles to ensure seamless communication and efficient care delivery.
• Delegating tasks appropriately to assigned healthcare team members and validate completion of delegated responsibilities throughout the shift.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and progress notes.
• Promote a healthy work environment by maintaining a positive attitude, being approachable, and offering constructive feedback to peers.
