Position Summary :
The Methodist Medical Center of Illinois is seeking multiple full-time Clinical Laboratory Scientists in Peoria, Illinois to perform clinical laboratory testing and assist in promoting a quality of service based on accuracy and timeliness in reporting results. Qualifications :
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree (or the foreign equivalent) in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related field.
Essential Functions :
Seeking multiple Clinical Laboratory Scientists to perform clinical laboratory testing and assist in promoting a quality of service based on accuracy and timeliness in reporting results. Responsible for assisting the department manager in the effective operation of the laboratory through the coordination of all activities in their respective responsibilities, including Determining acceptability of specimens within guidelines, Following test protocol and performing test procedures with care and accuracy, and Recognizing implausible results, unusual tests reactions, errors, and instrument malfunctions and investigating / problem solving .
