Position Summary :
To perform routine and specialized examinations in Ultrasound; adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic and / or therapeutic results; prepare patients for examinations. This requires independent judgment to adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic results under the direction of a radiologist.
Qualifications :
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Associate's Degree in Ultrasound or related field or Certificate in Radiologic Technology CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Abdomen (AB), OB / GYNE (OB), Breast (BR), Fetal Echo (FE), Neurosonology (NE), or Peds Sono (PS) within 6 months BLS within 30 days of hire EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS New Grads will be considered ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
