What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Specialist position at Carleton Equipment?
We are looking for energetic and competent people to join our Parts Team! Your responsibilities will be to communicate with customers on the phone, in person, or through our messaging app. Find & recommend parts they need based on diagrams. Your goal is to get the customer back up and running!
Primary Job Functions:
- Maintain effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal & external customer satisfaction
- Responsible for daily duties of department, stock orders, recording transition of sales, cleanliness, and stocking.
- Provide superior customer service, in person, over the phone, & digitally
- Analyze & resolve discrepancies between computer inventory & actual parts on hand
Job Type: Full Time
- Monday-Friday
- 7:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
- Plus overtime when needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Charismatic and great with customers
- Mathematical Skills - Basic ability to count, multiply, divide, etc.
- Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense to carry out tasks.
- Previous warehouse experience is helpful
- Understanding of Computer Programs, like Microsoft Office, Shipping Software, and Inventory Systems
- Ability to lift 10-100 lbs.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
