Carleton-Willard Village is a premier Continuing Care Retirement community located in Bedford, MA. Services include supportive care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and memory care all in a village-type setting. Our 72-acre sanctuary of pristine woods, meadows, walking paths and gardens is just north of Boston.
Diet Aide/Trayline
11:00 am -7:30 pm (weekend required)
Position Summary:
Assures the timely and efficient operations of the kitchen Tray line service and waitstaff service to the dining rooms.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assures that steam tables are at the proper temperature prior to meal service; reports inadequate temperatures to chef immediately.
- Prepares Tray line menus and organizes them according to truck order prior to meal service.
- Organizes desserts, salads, and cold food for Tray line as scheduled.
- Prepares garnishes for all meals.
- Assists with and oversees Tray line operation as scheduled, assuring that foods produced are of the highest quality and are served at the proper temperature and with regard to proper sanitary procedures.
- Assures that meals served in the dining room are of the highest quality in terms of appearance, temperature, and garnish and that waitstaff delivery is timely.
- Assures that proper sanitation practices are adhered to during Tray line operations.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Pay: $19 per hour (base pay) plus Weekend differential.

Qualifications:
- High School degree or equivalent.
- No experience needed. Training will be provided.
