Job Purpose
Provide a 5-star customer experience to our residents by mentoring, training and supervising dining team members on fine dining experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in maintaining proper staffing levels and assignments of dining staff
- Supports in the onboarding, orientation and training of dining staff
- Coordinates with nursing team, dietician, and kitchen staff regarding changes in therapeutic diets, meal choices and meal pack
- Participates in the planning, scheduling, set-up and clean-up of special events and functions
- Communicates across disciplines to ensure high service standards are met
- Performs Host/Hostess duties
- Addresses resident concerns and complaints with Dining Room Manager and Director of Dining Services and assists with providing resolution
- Follows and promotes adherence to health, safety and sanitation regulations
- Assists with department’s quality assurance
- Applies “5 Star” customer service approach to all aspects of job.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
- Reports to the appropriate managers any known or suspected violations of policy and procedures, regulations, or standards of conduct.
- Attends required in-services and training.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years related experience or training
- CCRC, Healthcare experience preferred
- Good organizational and attention to detail skills
- ServSafe and/or alcohol training preferred
- Ability to prioritize
