Launch Manager

Lead the plant initiative in APQP activities, new
product/process validation, design reviews and safe launch

• Initiate feasibility commitments for new programs
• Develop tooling requirements, tracking and verification
• Develop plant specification sheets for part quality
• Develop packaging specifications
• Perform and provide part capability studies
• Submit IMDS (international material data sheet) information

as required

• Gage R&R studies and Measurement System Analyses
• Prepare part submission warrants and PPAP paperwork for

new parts and engineering changes

• Assist plant process engineers with the development of

PFEMAs, control plans and corrective and preventative
action plans

• Formulate cross-functional product teams with specific roles

and responsibilities to the program to achieve the above
tasks

• Lead program finance and budgeting from the plant

perspective, including material costing, bill-of-material
creation and capital equipment requirements

• In conjunction with Purchasing, manage numerous

components of the supplier base, including quoting,
procurement and delivery coordination, evaluation and
creation of work statements

• Provide product-specific support to marketing, including

presentations, datasheets, customer visits, market research
data, formulation of product business and launch plans

• Develop sample and prototype manufacturing schedules with

the plant scheduling department and support development
