Accredited riding school is seeking qualified instructor to teach basic dressage and jump lessons, organize and manage summer camps, and instruct the Pony Club curriculum. Candidate must have prior coaching experience (preferably with certification), have an interest in the growth and development of students, and work well as a positive member of a larger team. This role does not require daily stall cleaning, feed/turn out, or a live in position, but does include contributing to the conditioning/ ongoing training of program horses.
As a riding academy, Carlisle provides lesson horses, schoolmasters, and a variety of certified programs for students of all ages and abilities, including Pony Club, Para-Dressage, dressage, jumping, and PATH unmounted wellness programs.
Candidate does not need to work in all of these areas but is needed for beginner to intermediate lessons 1-2 afternoons per week with scheduled Saturdays throughout the year.
