What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver Non DOT position at Carlisle Companies?
Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading building envelope solution supplier that effectively drives energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are seeking a Driver for our Puyallup, WA Plant.
This position will be responsible for transporting finished goods and materials to our manufacturing plants, customers and distribution centers. This position provides a vital link between the materials and production departments.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Making local deliveries daily (Driving a Ford F-350 pulling a 40ft gooseneck flatbed trailer).
- Loading flatbed trailers using a forklift when necessary.
- Securing your loads using company provided tie-down straps.
- Keep daily delivery log.
- Back-in / shuffle trailers in yard as needed when not out on deliveries (using our hostler truck)
- Assist shipping team in other duties as needed.
- Deliver product in a timely manner
- Drive safely and avoid accidents and tickets
- Interface with customers in a courteous manner
- Keep accurate records and logs
- Conduct daily pre-trip truck inspections
- Maintain good communication with Production Manager
- Assist in loading and unloading of material

Benefits offered :
Per the state's Wage Transparency Act, the range for this position is $25.69-$32.83 / per hr. Actual salary could be greater based on education, experience, and other qualifying skill sets.
Salary : $26 - $33
