Support Specialist is an entry level position at Carlisle Dermatology Group. The ideal candidate will have a positive, professional personality to be able to work well with others and is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
The Support Specialist will spend time working with each department in the practice in a supportive and developmental role learning and growing in their level of responsibility.
- Greet patients and visitors
- Answer/ Triage incoming calls
- Verify patient demographic information
- Verify insurance information
- Check In/Out
- Collect copay/ Outstanding balance
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Logging and scanning new patient demographics and medical histories.
- Obtaining medical records for patients that were referred out for procedures
- Checking voicemails and returning patient calls.
- Room Patients and document chief complaint
- Assist surgical team with prepping duties
- Additional duties may be added pending needs of the organization.
