As an Electrical Assembler II, you will follow and develop approved procedures and follow safety standards. You will assemble electro-mechanical components to sub-assemblies from detailed assembly instructions, electrical and mechanical schematics, and drawings under minimum supervision. This position is day shift, Monday – Friday, 6am-2:30 PM in a clean, comfortable facility.
What you’ll do:
- Provide routine to moderate electrical and mechanical assembly by following schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Perform routine to moderate testing and quality checks in line with minimum supervision.
- Develop vital skills from our Engineering and Operations training and work experience to build upon overall knowledge of the operation.
- Acquire knowledge of our variety of products
- Troubleshooting processes and testing procedures and offer feedback/support
- Report findings, and track time and performance if needed.
- Able to mentor, and share knowledge with peers and teammates
- Independent beta builds with minimal supervision and support providing feedback for improvement and innovation
- Follow safety guidelines from Carlisle
- Participate in safety and process improvements.
What you’ll need:
- 3-5 years’ experience in electrical assembly operations
- Knowledge and background of electrical schematics
- Knowledge and background of panel layout
- Knowledge and background of electrical standards (UL508a, NFPA79, CSA, CE)
- Handling of multimeter and other measuring devices
- Handling the G-press to put pins on wires
- System testing/troubleshooting experience
- Soldering/crimping experience
- Able to use precise hand tools to perform mechanical tasks
- Experience using an ERP system
