Student Success Coordinator/Lead Advisor
We are searching for a Student Success Coordinator/Lead Advisor who will support the management of the College Access and Career Advising Program at Carlos Rosario School. This role works closely with the Student Success Manager to facilitate the school’s dual enrollment program, track college persistence, coordinate higher education resources, and provide individualized advising support to students exploring post-secondary pathways. Additionally, the SSLA will play a key role in strengthening partnerships with colleges and vocational schools while supporting office functions within the Student Services Department.
Responsibilities:
• Co-facilitate workshops with the Student Manager and faculty members on topics related to higher education and vocational schools.
• Coordinate student information sessions, individual advising sessions, and acceptance processes of students interested in learning about higher education, vocational schools, and scholarship programs.
• Coordinates support for the Dual Enrollment program.
• Maintain scholarship request form and review up-to-date records of scholarship usage and balance report
• Maintain strong and positive relationships with university partners and co-facilitate a smooth onboarding process
• Monitor, develop, and participate in student and alumni enrichment activities
• Guide students through college applications, financial aid, and scholarship processes.
• Prepare scholars' higher education status reports
• Work closely with the Student Services team
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of administrative, advising, or education-related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
● Experience working with a diverse student population, including adult learners.
● Strong outcomes orientation
● Experience managing data and providing reports
● Detail orientated and adept at learning new technologies
● Proven ability to take initiative and have excellent follow-up skills
● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word, Publisher, and Excel
● Support the school’s mission and comfortably work with people from diverse backgrounds
● Knowledge of Spanish, Amharic, or French is a plus.

Hourly amounts range from $26.00 to $42.00 per hour based on experience.
