Job Summary:
Lifehouse’s Residential Treatment Center is seeking a Residential Clinical Director to oversee clinical services for individuals receiving Substance Abuse Disorder treatment. The Director will lead and supervise a team of therapists and clinical staff, ensuring high-quality care that meets CARF accreditation standards. Responsibilities include developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans, conducting therapy, maintaining a caseload, and ensuring compliance with CARF and state regulations. The Director will also collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive, person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Supervision: Supervise and mentor clinical and treatment staff, ensuring ethical care, adherence to CARF and ASAM standards, and providing guidance on treatment planning and documentation.
- Clinical Oversight: Ensure clinical services meet regulatory and CARF standards, reviewing treatment plans, progress notes, and clinical documentation for compliance. Provide direct therapy and crisis intervention.
- Program Development: Lead the development of clinical programs and initiatives, aligning services with Lifehouse’s mission and CARF standards.
- Collaboration: Foster teamwork with residential staff, medical professionals, and case managers to provide integrated care.
- Staff Training & Development: Organize training to ensure staff are up-to-date with therapeutic practices, trauma-informed care, and CARF standards.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Monitor clinical practices for compliance with CARF standards, conducting audits and implementing corrective actions.
- CARF Accreditation: Lead efforts to maintain CARF accreditation through surveys, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Clinical Counseling, or related field.
- Licensing: Valid, unrestricted license in New Mexico (LPCC, LCSW, PsyD, or equivalent). Additional certifications in clinical supervision preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a clinical setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Experience with mental health disorders and Substance Abuse Disorder treatment required.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with expertise in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention. Knowledge of trauma-informed care and CARF standards is essential.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- On-call availability as needed.
- Full-time, on-site position, with evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
