Position Description
The Production Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing the commercial organization by coordinating the operational execution and development of patient-specific solutions. This role bridges sales, operations, and clinical stakeholders, ensuring operational excellence in order fulfillment, issue resolution, and logistics coordination. The Production Coordinator is also responsible for improving internal processes, analyzing operational data, and contributing to initiatives that support scalability and service delivery. Additionally, the Production Coordinator owns courier and shipment logistics for time-sensitive surgical products.
Responsibilities
Order & Workflow Optimization
- Own and optimize end-to-end workflows for patient-specific product fulfillment.
- Analyze order processing trends to recommend improvements in scheduling and resource allocation.
- Refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Logistics & Courier Services
- Evaluate courier vendors based on performance metrics and oversee daily logistics operations.
- Develop and track KPIs for delivery timeliness, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide tracking information and shipment updates to internal and external stakeholders on a timely basis, advising of any delays and and plans to resolve as needed.
Sales & Customer Success Enablement
- Serve as the operational information hub for the commercial team.
- Develop real-time dashboards and reporting tools to communicate product readiness and shipment updates.
- Partner with commercial team to address high-priority order issues and ensure alignment on timelines.
Process Improvement
- Identify and troubleshoot operational bottlenecks impacting order fulfillment.
- Gather stakeholder feedback and develop action plans to implement process improvements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of interactions, issues, and resolutions.
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure full compliance with operational, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready records in CRM and ERP systems.
- Train internal teams on process updates, system enhancements, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare operations, logistics, or related field
- 3 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or customer support within medical device or healthcare
- Demonstrated success in process improvement or operational optimization roles
- Proficiency in CRM/ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite)
- Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, healthcare) strongly preferred

We are pleased to provide a competitive salary and benefits. The expected starting hourly rate of pay is: $31.00 to $34.00 . Compensation may vary based on related skills, experience, and relevant key attributes.
