We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Customer Quality Control and Product Specialist (Nutritional Products) to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in supporting both customers and internal teams by providing expert nutritional and product information. As a Customer Quality Control and Product Specialist (Nutritional Products), you’ll be the go-to expert for both technical and product-related inquiries. You will help ensure our customers receive exceptional support and will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Your responsibilities will include handling customer complaints, investigating adverse event reports (AERs), assisting with product specifications, and supporting the development of new product formulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide expert nutritional and product information to customers via phone, email, or chat
· Document, investigate, and track customer complaints and adverse event reports (AERs), identifying trends and performing root cause analysis
· Collaborate with vendors to resolve quality-related issues and improve customer satisfaction
· Support the research and development of new product formulations, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards
· Assist in the creation and modification of product specifications and research nutritionally related topics
· Develop relevant informational materials to educate customers and internal teams
· Utilize ERP software to maintain accurate records and track ongoing investigations
· Attend conventions and seminars to represent Carlson Labs (occasional travel may be required)
· Other duties as needed to support the team and company goals
Position Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), preferably in Health Sciences, Biology, Quality Assurance, Chemistry, Public Health, Food Science, or Nutrition
· Experience in Quality Assurance, Food Manufacturing, or Nutrition is a plus but not required
· Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries in a professional and helpful manner
· Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to convey technical information clearly
· Exceptional organizational and critical thinking skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with ERP software is a plus
· Self-motivated and dependable, with a strong commitment to teamwork
Salary : $24 - $29
