Machine Helper, Folder Gluer

Join our team! Our Howard Lake facility is growing with the addition of specialty packaging equipment. Carlson Packaging Solutions is seeking a Machine Helper to assist on a Folder Gluer machine with efficient operations, inspecting and packaging finished products.

Regular schedule is three days a week. Work 12 hour shifts (6am to 6pm) with the availability to work Saturdays and overtime as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing, bindery printing industry a plus
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good communication skills
• Ability to stand throughout shift and good manual dexterity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup and operation of the folder gluer machine in a manufacturing environment
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain the machine as needed
• Handle materials and operate hand tools for packaging, stripping and other purposes
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality control standards are met
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to coordinate workflow
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
