What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Operations Center Technician position at Carlson Technologies Inc.?
Duty Description: The Network Operations Center Technician’s (NOCT) primary role is to monitor critical network elements and to engage in proactive network systems monitoring and optimization. NOC Technicians will provide remote support to customers including but not limited to network issues, PC problems, and software updates. NOCT’s must be able to manage and troubleshoot multiple issues at one time. The NOCT reports directly to the Director of Information Technologies.
Scope of Work: The NOCT will be responsible for the daily monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all CTi customers networks and IT equipment. The NOCT will provide phone support to customer issues and handle all overflow of remote support ready calls from each of the CTi offices. The NOCT will also monitor and address all alerts and manage the CTi Managed Services tickets.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
