What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL A Driver/Shipping and Receiving Associate position at Carlson Tool & Manufacturing?

As a combination Shipping & Receiving Associate / CDL A Driver of Carlson, we anticipate that your efforts will produce internal and external customer satisfaction every day. Primary Responsibilities:
- Must be familiar and abide by the interstate and intrastate traffic rules and regulations.
- Safely load high-value metal components and firmly secure payload for interstate travel.
- Performs pre/post trip safety checks.
- Drive trucks along directed routes for pickups and deliveries.
- Verify BOL to skid - piece counts.
Requirements:
- Between 6-months and 1 year of technical school or 2 years of work-related experience.
- Valid/current DOT Health Card or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
- Valid Class A CDL and WI driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to drive a manual stick shift truck.
- Experience with handling of large equipment and materials.
- Experience with loading and unloading along with trucking heavy loads preferred.
