Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Accounting:
• Manage construction accounts payable, including invoice coding, purchase orders, lien waivers, and payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare client invoices, update billing worksheets, and build project budget tracking files.
• Communicate with subcontractors to maintain valid insurance certificates and manage annual liability audits.
• Accounts Payable:
• Process payments for consultants, office supplies, studio rents, utilities, and loans.
• Banking & Financial Transactions:
• Handle bank deposits, inter-company transfers, and reconciliation of accounts. Maintain organized records for monthly statements.
• Payroll & HR:
• Process bi-weekly payroll, reconcile benefits invoices, fund employee accounts, and manage inter-company journal entries for benefits.
• Financial Reporting:
• Support month-end closings, journal entries, and financial report compilation. Manage credit card reconciliations and software amortizations.
• General Office Coordination:
• Oversee office supplies, mail distribution, client meetings, and shipping tasks. Serve as the primary contact for office maintenance and cleaning.
