Industrial elevator and material lift company in the Houston, TX area is currently hiring an experienced Elevator Technician to join their team! In this role, the Elevator Technician will be responsible for the installation of custom elevator systems for new construction and renovations. The technician will perform scheduled and emergency services for existing and new customers. This will include diagnosing problems; ordering and gathering parts; completing installation and testing.
Salary: $55K - $65K/yr.
The perfect Elevator Technician for our client will have:
- 3 years’ experience in the elevator industry
- 5 years’ working with electrical and mechanical industrial equipment
- Fundamental knowledge of AC/DC electricity, basic circuitry, and electrical wiring systems
- The ability to independently troubleshoot issues, analyze electrical schematics and construction drawings, as well as technical product information
- Must be able to travel up to 90%
- Must have valid DL with clean driving record
- Must have or be eligible to get TWIC
