We’re hiring a Chemical Lab Tech for our Southeast Houston area client!
We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately!
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:
- Job Title: Chemical Lab Tech
- Location: Southeast Houston area
- Pay: $21-23/hr.
- Hours: 7am-3:30pm with flexibility to work rotating shifts as needed
- Duration: Temp-to-hire
- Description of Duties: Pull samples and perform routine analysis (PH, analytical titrations, specific gravity, viscosity, acid/base number, etc.); Run lab batches and maintain associated records; adjust waste water PH and load waste water to trailers for shipping; maintain lab equipment and order replacement parts as needed; communicate recommended adjustments to supervisors / plant personnel; logs facility data for environmental reports; certifies incoming raw material and outgoing production in timely manner
- Requirements: 3 years' lab tech experience; Strong knowledge of plant safety. Ability to follow ISO9001 procedures; Has basic knowledge of shipping hazardous material samples
