Manufacturing Company in Manvel, TX is currently hiring an experienced Structural Steel Designer to join their team! In this role, the Structural Steel Designer will be responsible for Creating project drawings from blueprints, sketches and photos; Designing plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software; Working from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and architects; Specifying dimensions, materials, and procedures for products.
Salary: $35-$40/hr.
The perfect Structural Steel Designer for our client will have:
- Experience with CADworx and AutoCAD Inventor/Revit
- Use of 3D modeling
- Experience with Plant Designs (PDMS) and Tekla (Structures/PowerFab)
- Knowledge of steel construction/fabrication and estimating
- Ability to create BOMs
