Industrial sales and service company in South Houston area is currently hiring an experienced Staff Accountant to join their team! In this role, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for Accounts Payable (bill entry, check runs, vendor statement reconciliation, journal entries, etc.), Accounts Receivable (billing, open order report updates / reconciliations, etc.) Responsibilities will also include answering phones and purchasing as needed, as well as payroll backup.
Salary : $60K-$65K / yr.
The perfect Staff Accountant for our client will have :
- 3 years’ Accountant experience
- Proficient skills in QuickBooks, Word and Excel
- Ability to accurately work under pressure while maintain tight deadlines
- High school diploma or GED
